Made of 18/10 stainless steel, the Tea Rex kettle has a fascinating reptile whistle. Created in 2015 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the famous 9093. Michael Graves redesigned the whistle of that first famous kettle, transforming its shape: the little bird has become at the same time a fascinating mythological and futuristic creature, a kind of imaginary dragon that serves as an omen for those who use it in their kitchen. The choice of the dragon is Graves’s reference to Chinese culture which has chosen these creatures as symbols of strength and fortune. The kettle is made from 18/10 stainless steel with a light blue handle and prehistoric reptilian whistle in light green in PA. The magnetic steel bottom makes it suitable for induction cooking.
